Some of you will remember that about six months ago we sponsored the viewing of a movie called the ‘end of the line’ at a cinema in Christchurch. We were joined by the producer ‘Claire Lewis’ and held a Q and A session at the end of the movie.
It’s a very hard hitting film about fish, fishing and the state of our oceans. It had a dramatic effect on how we do business and how we source the fish that we sell.
I can’t recommend enough that you take a look, draw your own conclusions and eat fish responsibly. If you get a bit depressed halfway through, hang in there, since it does get a bit more positive by the end as to what we can actually do and what is getting better.
I don’t think enjoy is probably the right word, but take a look and be interested at least.
